FCN had a great experience at Savannah Pride 2015 on September 12, the biggest LGBT event of the year in the Coastal Empire. FCN volunteers (also known as “booth babes”) gave away a lot of promotional items, helped recruit several new members and welcomed back many who renewed, and networked with several new potential partners. Also making its debut at Pride was our display and literature about our efforts to raise funds for an LGBT Community Center here in Savannah. Look for this display to travel wherever we have an audience, to garner support in our community for this crucial need.

Special thanks to Michael E., Corey, Dee, Randy, Melvin, Michael O., Mel, Sean, and Tom for giving their time and effort at the FCN booth. We also greatly appreciate James for helping to set up the tent, and to Jeff for helping move items from the cars to the tent, while both also worked tirelessly for Pride. Michael P. also worked for Pride most of the day and made a solid contribution to our efforts as well.  And…our own Billy Wooten sang the national anthem! FCN gave a true team effort.

Congratulations to the Pride Board and all their volunteers for another successful event this year!
