First City Network Secures Community Center

Savannah, GA (April 7th, 2017) – First City Network (FCN) has taken a momentous step this week toward promoting a more inclusive community by signing a lease to create the community’s first LGBT Center at 1515 Bull Street.

The Center has been a 20+ year dream for the community and will become a hub of health services, activism, and youth services for the Savannah area. Within the Center will be partner organizations providing everything from HIV testing to youth support for populations that are in critical need of attention.

In the coming weeks and months you will see the Center take life along the Bull Street corridor in a vibrant neighborhood that includes college students, artists, and local businesses. We would like to thank past and current donors that have made this possible. As renovations begin, please know that your financial contributions will help support the vision and operation of this wonderful Safe Space.

First City Network, Inc. is a local, private, non-profit community service organization chartered in 1985 by concerned citizens seeking a gay and lesbian positive community. The mission of FCN is to enhance and sustain the well-being of LGBT individuals and their allies by providing educational, social, and health-related activities, programs, and services. FCN will serve as an essential resource; advocating for civil and human rights; and supporting, promoting and embracing the cultural diversity that connects us into one community.
